Quaderni is an attempt to build a performative experience that feeds on different ways of inhabiting the scene and the different individual poetics of the performers involved. In real time they share a space of action, their own sensibility and their specific research subjects such as movement, sound, vocal and textual research, giving life to a field of forces in which the spectator is called to reformulate the boundaries of their role. A series of signs, traces and glimpses of intimacy weave the threads of a dense network of listening that becomes an instrument of articulation of unusual perspectives of meaning and exploration of relational dynamics. Frequenting the boundary between writing and opening to the present of the performative moment reveals the reasons, the forces and the times that generate them. The notebook is a peculiar place in which to collect some elements linked to a process; before being a completed work it is a living material always susceptible of a further opening to its becoming, to its letting itself be leafed through and interpreted by the gaze of a new spectator. Images, photos, writings that appear in it open up autonomous worlds and at the same time trigger a mechanism of reciprocal resonances: what emerges from the juxtaposition of two or more elements? What instead seems to be hidden? Quaderni is a sort of ritual of reformulation of some issues related to the scene. A field of forces that investigates the boundaries between writing and improvisation, between dance and theatre, between gesture and representation.
