Elisa Pol

Actress and performer, she was born in Montebelluna (TV) in 1984. After graduating from classical high school, she graduated from the University of Padua, Degree Course in Philosophy. She began theater training in 2003 at the theater academy Scenica (TV). In 2006 he participated in an intensive seminar entitled “The Wild Actor,” led by Maurizio Lupinelli of Teatro delle Albe. From this experience was born an artistic partnership with Maurizio Lupinelli and together they founded in December 2007 the company Nerval Teatro. In the meantime, she continues training and frequenting other artists and scholars: veterinarian, ethologist and philosopher Roberto Marchesini. In 2020 she obtains the title of operator in Educational Zooanthropology at the SIUA school (Scuola Interazione Uomo Animale (School of Human-Animal Interaction) founded by Roberto Marchesini. In 2010 she was selected and admitted to the course Scritture per la danza contemporanea directed by Raffaella Giordano. This is a two-year training project (2011 – 2012) oriented to act in the field of experimentation and training for dancers and actors with high body sensitivity. Since 2007 she has been working steadily in the productions of the Nerval Teatro company. As an actress she is on stage in the shows: Magnificat (2008) by Antonio Moresco, Hamlet! (2009) by W. Shakespeare, Appassionatamente (2010) by Eugenio Sideri and Maurizio Lupinelli, Psicosi delle 4 e 48 (2011) by Sarah Kane, Squarci dall’ignoto (2011) by Loretta Menegon, Le Presidentesse (2013) by Werner Schwab directed by Maurizio Lupinelli and in Canelupo Nudo (2014) by Nerval Teatro directed by Claudio Morganti. In 2016 he plays Ma perché non dici mai niente? Monologue by Lucia Calamaro. The shows have been produced and programmed in major Italian and international theaters.
In 2017 he embarked on an authorial path that investigates the relationship between scenic writing and choreographic gesture with the intention of creating hybrid forms of expression and dramaturgy. His first project I giardini di Kensington together with performer Valerio Sirna was a finalist at the 2017 Premio Scenario.
He collaborates with Sotteraneo (I Futurnauti), Fanny & Alexander (Rave Foster Wallace -Marathon Infinite Jest), Juha Marsalo/Cie La Flux (Le Bal).
