The Sosta Palmizi Association‚ led by Raffaella Giordano and Giorgio Rossi‚ it is one of the most prestigious contemporary dance companies in Italy. Born in 1990‚ after the breakup of the homonym company (set up during the eighties by dancers who worked with Carolyn Carlson by La Fenice Theater in Venice)‚ the association moved in 1994 from Turin to Cortona‚ where it currently resides.

Besides being a company of production and an organizational structure for the choreographic creations of Raffaella Giordano and Giorgio Rossi‚ who signed numerous shows performed and appreciated in Italy and foreign countries‚ the association also produces the work of other contemporary artists in the field of Theater and Dance.

The association develops also a yearly activity of teaching addressed to professional or semi–professional dancers and to all those people‚ formed through some theatrical discipline‚ that have a good predisposition and⁄or motivation to work on the body.

Through their meeting with some of the most important teachers of our century and their experience as contemporary authors‚ Raffaella Giordano and Giorgio Rossi have been developing ‚ since fifteen years‚ a path of research.
